摘要电影是当下最具影响力的传媒手段，它作为一种大众传播媒介的同时，也是一种社会文化现象。而且电影在文化传播的过程中扮演者极其重要的角色，尤其是美国电影，作为影视行业中的佼佼者，它在全球化的环境下对世界正确认识中国文化起着举足轻重的作用。18838
   中国女性形象首先是一个电影文学形象,审美形象;其次,这个形象背后暗含着巨大的文化、历史、社会、政治内涵，同时,这个形象不是静止的、凝固的形象,而是一个动态的、变化的、带有生命活力的形象,她存在于具体的社会历史文化语境中,存在于流动发展的过程中。
  本课题选取《大地》、《黄苏丝的世界》、《中国盒子》和《木兰》为四个时期的典型电影案例进行文本分析，探讨中国女性在美国电影中呈现何种形象，以及其形成的历史背景。论文共分为三个部分，第一部分为绪论，阐述电影与跨文化传播的关系以及文化政治的概念，第二部分为美国电影中中国女性形象的分析，这也是本文最重要的部分，分析了上面提到的四部电影的中的主人公的形象特征，第三部分为总结，比较不同时期美国电影中中国女性形象的特点，并分析其成因以及论文的研究意义。

Title  The Changes of Chinese Female Characters in American Movies Since The 1940s
Abstract Film is the most influential media in the moment. it is both a mass media and a social and cultural phenomenon. Movie, especially American movie plays a very important role in the process of cultural transmission. As the leader in film-television industry, American movie has a great influence on the correct understanding of China under the environment of globalization. Sunmeng(2005) mentioned that Chinese female image is firstly a movie literature image and a esthetic image, secondly, the image implies a huge cultural, historical, social and political connotation. At the same time, the image is not static and concretionary image, but a dynamic and changing image with fresh vitality. she exists in the specific social and historical culture context and the flowing process of development. This topic selects The Earth, The World of Suzie Wong, Chinese Box and Mulan as the typical movie of the four periods for text analysis, to explore what kind of image Chinese women appeared in American movies and the historical background of the formation of this image.
