摘要： 水彩画作为一门独立的画种，在创作观点上就带有很强的唯美主义倾向，其装饰性是随时存在的。装饰色彩在色彩上表现为平面空间的对比关系，一般不强调三文空间的真实光影和透视等因素。因此，只要制作出来的装饰画具有装饰意，能够充分利用材料在艺术表现上的关系，形式独特的装饰美都可以称为具有装饰性的装饰画。
在十九世纪末的欧洲新艺术运动为装饰性艺术的发展带来了新的契机，印象主义美术影响了艺术观念的转变，促进了现代艺术的产生，完成了绘画中色彩造型的变革。从20世纪初以来，中国绘画的发展变化非常大，美术家在艺术创作中也在不断地体验各种流派和风格，尽管有不同形式的发展，但作品对于观者来说，不仅会作用于视觉，同样也会有感于心灵。尽管水彩画的装饰性发展时间及空间略逊于其他画种，但对当代艺术的发展产生了深刻的影响，对于当代艺术的观念传达、个人体验的表现、文化态度的彰显都就有重要的实用价值。关键词：水彩画、装饰色彩、实用价值7805
