Abstract In the traditional translation studies, the “source-orientation” which gives priority to faithfulness and equivalence played a dominant role. Therefore, translator was seen as a faithful servant of author and original text, and translator’s subjective creativity was restricted. However, under the influence of “cultural turn”, the status of translator had been greatly enhanced, and the objectivity and inevitability of translator’s subjectivity had been taken into account.43529

As a special form of Chinese literature, Song Ci-poetry represents the highest achievement of the literature in Song Dynasty, Li Qingzhao is considered as an unique and outstanding poetess in Song Dynasty, whether a translator can accurately convey the tremendous cultural and artistic value of her Ci-poems matters most.

As an established translator of traditional Chinese poetry, Xu Yuanchong has put forward a large quantity of distinctive translation theories based upon his years of translation practices and experience. He has made tremendous contributions to the establishment of translation theories of Chinese literature and the development of traditional Chinese literature. And translator’s subjectivity can be seen everywhere in his translation.

Hence this thesis employs Gadamer’s hermeneutics and takes Xu Yuanchong’s translation of Li Qingzhao’s Ci-poems as a case study to analyze the manifestation of Xu Yuanchong’s subjectivity. It is hopeful that this thesis can enhance receptors’ understanding of the nature of translator’s subjectivity and convey the message that translator is the subject of translation, and translator’s subjectivity is manifested during the whole process of translation.

摘要在传统翻译研究中,以对等为翻译规范的“源文本中心论”占据主导位置,译者被视为原文和原作者的忠实奴仆,主观创造备受限制。然而翻译学的“文化转向”极大地提高了译者地位,译者主体性发挥的客观性和必然性被列入考虑的范围。   

作为一种特殊的文学形式,宋词标志着宋代文学的最高成就,而李清照在宋代词坛上独树一帜,能否准确地展现其词作的巨大文化艺术价值至关重要。

许渊冲作为中国古诗词翻译大家,根据其多年的翻译实践和经验,提出了一系列的翻译理论*751^文,论.文|网www.751com.cn,为中国文学翻译理论的形成和弘扬传统文学做出了巨大的贡献。译者主体性在他的翻译作品中随处可见。

本文将借助伽达默尔的哲学阐释学理论,以许渊冲的译本为研究对象,对李清照的词作翻译进行探究,揭示其译者主体性的体现以增强读者对译者主体性本质的理解和认识,使读者意识到译者是翻译的主体,翻译的过程就是主体性发挥的过程。
