离子掺杂对上转换材料发光性能的影响研究

摘要正硅酸钇是一种较好的上转换材料,具有高熔点、低线性膨胀系数、耐化学腐蚀、热稳定性以及优良的机械强度等物化性能,以及掺杂稀土的上转换荧光更是比同类型的材料要好得多。广泛应用于照明、建筑装饰和工艺美术、农业、军事、生物、医学等领域。本文采用溶胶—凝胶法合成并掺杂了不同种类离子和不同浓度的正硅酸钇粉体。采用X射线衍射、扫描电镜、热重对制备的上转换材料进行表征分析,通过荧光测试其上转换光性能。64138

分别探究了Pr3+单掺杂、Pr3+与Cu2+共掺杂、Pr3+与Zn2+共掺杂对正硅酸的影响。实验结果表明,Pr3+单掺杂以及Pr3+与Zn2+共掺杂时,正硅酸钇的晶型没有改变,保持X1晶型。Pr3+与Cu2+共掺杂时,正硅酸钇的晶型发生转换,形成X2晶型。三种掺杂方式均可得到的晶体呈球形蓬松状,晶体大小和荧光效果改变不明显,但掺杂后样品的结晶温度有下降,有利于形成晶体粒度更小的材料。

对掺杂不同离子浓度样品的上转换性能研究,结果表明Pr2+单掺杂1%时,上转换荧光效果最好;当Pr3+与Cu2+共掺杂时,Cu2+在掺杂比为3%~4%时,晶体的晶型发生转变,对荧光效果有影响,在1%掺杂时荧光效果最好;Pr3+与Zn2+共掺杂时,掺杂浓度为2%时荧光效果最好。

Title    Study on the Effect of Upconversion Luminescence Properties of Y2SiO5: Pr3+ Co-doped with Different Ions                    

Abstract

Yttrium Silicate with a high melting point, low linear expansion coefficient, good thermal stability and excellent physical and chemical properties such as mechanical strength, and resistant to chemical corrosion, is a favorable upconversion luminescent host. These advantages make Y2SiO5 widely applied in light, architecture decoration, arts and crafts, agriculture Military, biology, medicine and other fields.

 Y2SiO5 doped with different ions was prepared by sol-gel method in this paper . The upconversion luminescent crystals were characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM),Differential Scanning Calorimetry & Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis(DSC-TGA),  and fluorescent spectroscope (FS).

Y2SiO5 were respectively single -doped with Pr3+,codoped with Pr3+,Cu2+ and Pr3+,Zn2+, and the effect of which on crystals ’ up-conversion fluorescence were investigated. 

The study show that the phase transition  of Y2SiO5  were single -doped with Pr3+,codoped with Pr3+,Zn2+ didn’t happen, whereas that codoped with Pr3+,Cu2+ did.  Characterized by SEM ,the crystal showed spherical morphology, particle size distribution performed similarly. Moreover, fluorescence intensity increased slightly,and the crystallization temperature of Y2SiO5 was reduced.

Y2SiO5  was doped with different ions ,and the optimal Pr3+ concentration of single –doped Y2SiO5 is 1.0mol%;codoped with Pr3+,Cu2+ ,the phase change of  Y2SiO5 from X1 to X2 happened when the addition Cu2+ concentration is between 3 mol% and 4 mol%, optimal Cu2+ concentration is 1.0mol%. Pr3+,Zn2+ codoped with Y2SiO5, Upconversion emission was optimized at a Zn2+ concentration of 2.0 mol %.
