摘 要意象主义是在20世纪早期由英美诗人发起的反对文多利亚式伤感主义的一场文学运动。李清照和艾米莉•狄金森在这一领域贡献尤为突出。李清照和艾米莉•狄金森是来自于不同国家出生于不同时期的两位女性诗人，在她们一生中著作颇丰。她们都渴求爱情，并创作出大量意象诗，从中表达出各自的爱情观。但是，她们运用了不同的表达方式来抒发自己的爱情观。本文通过对两位诗人的人物介绍及意象派定义的解释，以及她们有关爱情的典型诗例的对比分析，如《点绛唇》 和 Wild Night-Wild Night,《醉花阴》 和 Summer for Thee,Grant I May B,《声声慢》 和 I Cannot Live with You, 作者总结出两位不同文化背景下的诗人对爱情的见解和感悟。本文的研究能够加深我们对意象的理解，以及如何用不同的意象表达不同的爱情观，进而促使人们对诗歌中的意象与爱情观的作深层次分析。8250

AbstractImagism was a literary movement launched by British and American poets early in the 20th century in reaction against Victorian sentimentalism. Two outstanding females in the area is Li Qingzhao and Emily Dickinson.As two female poets from different countries and in different epoch, Li Qingzhao and Emily Dickinson both are prolific in their lifetime. They have the longing and desire for love and are capable of composing imagist poems, which impress us with their opinions on love in these imagist poems. However, each of them employs unique ways of expressions to express their personal values of love. With the background introduction to the two imagist and the definition of imagism, this paper utterly interprets their distinct values on love by the way of ana lysing and comparing several typical poems like 《点绛唇》 and Wild Night-Wild Night,《醉花阴》and summer for Thee, Grant I May Be,《声声慢》and I Cannot Live with You which in details illustrate their values of love.This paper can help you with a better understanding on the imagism, on how to use different images to convey different values on love; furthermore, it will motivate us to study more about relationship between the images in poems and the love value.

I. Introduction
As two famous poets from different countries, they share similarities but most importantly they bore with difference, which was due to the different in their background, like place, culture, education and so on. As a result of that, their feelings or emotions are displayed in their poetry in opposite ways.
1.1 Brief Introduction to Li Qingzhao
Li Qingzhao(1084-1155?), alias Yi An, lived in a period between Northern Song and Southern Song dynasty in China. Born in the feudal time when women were considered to be inferior to men and when it was a truth universally acknowledged that a woman without literary talents would become virtuous, exceptionally Li Qingzhao stood out as an outstanding female poet. As a versatile woman, she was a scholar of history, a literary critic, an art collector, a calligrapher and a political commentator(Johnson 83).
