Abstract Britain is not only the birthplace of modern football, but also has a long history of football fan culture. The paper analyzes the classification of British fans, their support and loyalty towards the team, geographical features of the fans, football violence and racial discrimination and other football fan cultural phenomena in Britain to show the variety of English football fan culture and to promote the Chinese football fan cultural study by providing a theoretical reference.52618

The second part briefly describes the origins of British fan culture, the classification of British fans and the development of modern football fan culture in the UK.
