In the case of a reasonable height, the frame structure can meet the requirements of a variety of functions. This is the frame structure design of Brady medical center. The structure is a cast-in-situ concrete frame structure, which is located in Shanghai and which is four floors on the ground and structural height is 15.55 meters. A total construction area is 2597.04 square meters. Building design service life is 50 years and fire-proof rank is secondary. The seismic intensity is 7 degrees. Design content is the structural design, including determination of structure scheme, structural calculations and structural construction design drawings. Determination of structure scheme is based on architecture diagram, geological data, specification standards to select the size of beams andcolumns, the thickness of concrete slabs, the type and size of piles and bases, the type of stairs etc. Structural calculation is according to the combination of computerized calculations and written calculations, and computerized calculations are using PKPM structure calculation software and MORGAIN calculation software. PKPM is based on the architectural model, and will calculate after the input loads, MORGAIN is calculation of design of size and reinforcement for concrete members. Structural construction design drawings are based on results to draw the drawing of beams, floors, columns, pile caps and the stairs detail etc.
